Heavy-Duty 1/4" Male NPT Cable-Operated Air Tank Drain Valve

Upgrade your compressed air system with this industrial-grade cable-operated tank drain. Designed as a direct replacement for traditional twist-style petcock drains, this valve offers a more convenient and efficient way to release moisture from your air tank.

Instead of accessing the bottom of the tank, this valve uses a 58" poly coated steel pull cable that can be mounted on the tank base or another easily accessible location. A simple pull on the cable activates the drain, eliminating the need to reach under the tank to drain a traditional petcock.

This high-quality valve is built for durability and long-term use. The pull cable is protected with a poly coating for comfort along with added resistance to wear and environmental exposure.

While it shares 1/4" NPT thread size compatibility with our other pull style tank drains, this version is designed to release a greater volume of air and moisture. It's ideal for use on larger air tanks with a capacity of 60 gallons or more. Also having a larger body than some other cheaper pull style drains this larger body has a larger internal seal making it less likely to clog or have tiny debris keep the valve from sealing.

When installed there must be slack on the cable unless being pulled for valve to seal properly.
